i had a pretty bad strain in my hamstring about 3 weeks ago.
last week i restrained it doing the same thing (ball hockey, running)

i picked up the dr ho from a friend, and it feels really good while i use it, that awkward pain / relief at the same time.

anyways i started noticing the blood is kinda pooling like a bruise like look in the area of the majority of pain,
my buddy seems to think its the blood coming to the injured area to treat it (white blood cells) etc.

anyone familiar or educated on this matter? as i am not so much.
and chris (cloudkicker) has ignored our group chat shenanigans as he's probably too busy exploring satans alley <3.

thanks boys.

It's blood leaking from the fascia dan. Actually I don't know why I suggested you use the tens machine if you JUST restrained. It's like taking a fraying broken rope and thinking that putting light to moderate tension on it will make it better. You just reinjuried the muscle belly and that machine is tensioning your hamstring while it's trying to heal.

Yeah it will need to be surgically removed. That's what happens dan when you rip musculature that's wrapped in fascia the blood seeps out of the fascia after it collects a bit. I'm just speculating though you should see a doctor if you're concerned. Nn physio just get dqt universal healthcare
