is this to be taken literal? or is this an exaggeration? i like to go to bars on fridays and get a little drunk, but if i do this does this mean that my week of working out is useless?
if you drink alcohol your systematic muscle release system will not engage for at least 48-72 hours therefore in that time you cannot build muscle as it is biologically impossible. you can counter this by taking a few spoonfuls of pepto bismal immediately before you go to bed after drinking alcohol. this stops the release of the hormone betaphagoot which leads to engagment of the systematic muscle release system which allows for optimal gains.
