Edit: 5x5 is also retarded cos it holds you back from progressing fast
A better long term and more manageable approach would be
Monday:
Squats 5x5
Wednesday:
3x3 light and fast
Friday:
Work up to a heavy 5,4 or triple
Basically the texas method. It also wont bore u to tears and wont make u dread going to the gym as you already are
