Shit is goat don't eat after 8PM (and try to make it til noon before breakfast but it'll still come off if you stop eating meals at night.)
The best way is to lose weight is to maintain a caloric deficit (you can even count macros Protein Carbs Fat) and then you get to do math everytime you eat who does that shit anyway people with really great physiques or some shit

Track your weight. Got a scale? Step on it first thing in the morning when you wake up and put it in a notebook. It's what I do right now when gaining weight.
