Losing fat is probably one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. im one of those people who look perfectly fine and yet I have lots of fat stored around my tummy etc which I want to get rid off.

I have tried SO many times out of which I have only been successful one time which was about 3 months ago. I went on a 2 month fat burning rampage where I was eating 100% clean gyming 5 times a day with lots
of cardio etc. After all that I was about to drop like 1.1% of my body fat and I was over 20% last when I checked.

I need to start again is there any tips? tricks? I mean in all honesty Its not like Im not willing to make the lifestyle change its just that with university studying a tough degree it is VERY taxing to
gym every day. I know I know I can prepare my food once on the weekend etc but all those little things add up. For example the gym was a 15 minute walk away. So in going to the gym, exercising, coming back AND eating
I would have spent 3-3.5 hours. Now that is ALOT of time investment in weekdays when I am tired after classes and have homeworks quizes exams and real life lined up. This was something that I did but
i did not enjoy it at all. Please someone tell me there is something more efficient out there. And after all this time by the time I would get done from eating I would be completely zapped of energy to focus on studies.

I ended up losing some fat but I did horribly in school last semester.

/e also you might think I could skip the gym and work only on cardio but I have tried that as well. I seem to lose a lot more quickly when Im lifting some heavy weights. Simple cardio doesnt cut it for me. I ran about 4 km a day for month but I saw very little fat loss when i was not lifting weights.

yes like I said I felt I lost more fat while trying to lift heavy weights.

But do you have any more specific tips? tricks?

My real question is, I know how to lose fat. I just need to find a way to balance that with my school. Im studying engineering and in between going coming to gym and doing the actual exercise and eating and showering I spend around ~ 3 hours.

That is a lot of time because of which my studies start to suffer which just means I cant retain it and then depression etc goes full circle and when I start feeling bad i stop going regularly eating junk more sleeping more all that bad stuff.

I know there must be others who are or who have gotten fit during university I want to know how you can manage that and life and still do good in school. Like my gpa was 3.6 cumulative but last semester I got a 2.3 and i know that had a
lot to do with me forcing myself to go to the gym regularly when i knew i should be doing assignments etc and after that I would be exhausted and not be able to study at night etc.

Well you don't need to work out to lose weight you just need to end up at a calorie deficit. Do you track what you eat?

this, also unorganized

gym time should be a time to get your mind off the studies n shit, so you could study before leaving school, then go gym, then home

be more efficient aswell, pick a routine with moderate volume and short rest to get something done in 30-45 min or so, if u do 3x10 sets of squat, dl, bench, ohp, lat pull and row with 30s rest, shouldnt take more than 1 hour and u could go like 2-3x/week

it does help though

LOL @ op, cutting requires 100% effort. NO fucking slack at all or stay your ass home. 5 meals per day- clean fucking diet. high intensity at workout to keep mass and strength. and HIIT 1-2 times a day. if you want additional stim pack- take a fat burner pill and go on a fasted run. Be patient brah
