https://www.blood.ca/en/blood/how-plasma-donation-works

With plasmapheresis, only the plasma portion of your blood is collected: all red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets are returned to your body. Blood is drawn through a needle in your arm and passes through a centrifuge. The centrifuge separates your plasma and returns the rest of your blood to you through the same needle. The entire process takes an hour and a half. During your plasma donation all of the supplies that come in contact with your blood are sterile and used only once.

Plasma clinics are booked by appointment only. If you are thinking of making your first plasma donatio

theres your answer

My brother does it monthly for a little extra cash. He's been at it for years with no repercussions.

There's no risk, bio plasma usa is like...top notch I donate when I'm feeling friendly.
If something is wrong with YOU health wise you can't blame them, most of the places can find your flaws prior to letting you donate.

They'll check if your veins are fine to donate. You'll have to go through a short series of questions each time you donate other than that no.
Your weight plays a factor in how much you need to donate for them.
