Wasn't sure if this is the right section

But Iv been having a really hard time keeping my teeth white, I brush 2 times a day and floss with Colgate white, I clean for about 5 minutes each time, have been doing so for the last 5 months, haven't really noticed a change
I am a smoker (not heavy) and my eating consist of mainly meat + salads and some occasional treats

I've seen some suggestions about getting teeth cleaning gel, applied with a mouth gaurd etc. has anyone tried it, or does anyone have any suggestions?

only good way to whiten teeth is to get it done by a dentist
most/all other methods might make a small difference but nothing spectacular

It's relatively inexpensive to get teeth whitening trays made. In all honesty you could maybe buy the stuff dentists use, the actual solution in the syringe and make a your own mouth pieces from a football mouth guard or the ones you use to sleep at night.

I've personally never done it or researched it, I have my own trays from the dentist, but I'm assuming it would work the same.

Yeah makes your teeth ridiculously white, just like on the brochure. Only downside is I have sensitive teeth naturally and that shit really makes them sensitive.

I had trays when I was younger I don't remember how much they cost, the ones I have now I bought at a silent auction from work. I think it was like $250, I paid like $100 for the thing.

My mom has some, I can ask her if she remembers what she paid the actual dentist if you want

edit: I remember wearing them in the tanning bed (before my senior pictures in highschool) and they were insanely white. People always commented on them
