One has minerals specifically designed to repair the damage to your hair cells as opposed to the body ones that has minerals and oils to help your skin stay hydrated.

You really think shampoo helps repair damaged hair cells? Like your hair absorbs the minerals? Shampoo also contains chemicals as well
Or
Your diet has more of an effect on repairing damaged hair cells?
I always thought topical products where scams. Like the commercials you see on TV with people like Rickles who barely have any hair left that use topical products that magically grow your hair back, rewind 20 years.

The most important point to understand is that hair is not living tissue. It has no circulatory system and cannot metabolize anything. Some products claim to deliver vitamins or other nutrients to your hair. This is not possible.
Hair does reflect what we eat and what we have in our system, so if you want to get vitamins and nutrients into your hair, you have to eat them and wait for new hair to grow.
Existing hair cannot metabolize or otherwise absorb nutrients or vitamins; its makeup comes from your circulatory system, not from anything you put on it topically."
