How does your body process calories in and out in terms of the cut off time. I imagine it's not a black and white answer, but just was thinking about this now that I am back on prednisone and stay up for 36 hours at a time just because I can't sleep.

Is it based more on a 24 hour clock? Based on when you wake up and go to sleep? I'm guessing it has something to do with when your body is resting, but could be wrong.

Just curious if there was any sort of reading material or anything out there for this.

Not too sure what you mean by "cut off time".... Your body constantly digests food whether you are awake or sleeping, it never stops. Get the calories you need every 24 hours... doesnt matter when you sleep

What I am trying to say is if you were trying to be as precise as you could, when would you know that you could restart on your calories for the next day. Just use 12 am to 12 am each day? Base it off of how you sleep? etc.
