i mean, the whole video is pretty interesting. but at 2:17 it says you gain "20%" more strength from workouts around 4pm than you do at 9am (assuming you wake up at 7-8am) due to body temp, airways, reaction time, etc. i've never heard this before.

what's everyone think?

Jesus, Andy bolton could be pulling another 200 lbs if he just worked out at 4pm? What an idiot... he could have been pulling 1200 lbs this whole time.

I prefer doing fasted swimming / rowing / running in the morning and then olympic lifting at night
Testosterone peaks in the morning but I don't feel alive enough to actually take advantage, I've played around a bunch with it and that's what works for me.
People could be different and are I'm sure.

but the internet also states the sky is blue (in North America during afternoon hours when there's no precipitation) are you saying what i think you're saying?

the "fact" isn't really about the time, more about our body temp. i guess the real question is, how does body temperature affect our performance and results in working out? does a higher body temp really help? of course our bodies temp are slightly higher in the afternoon than in the morning, since it drops while we sleep and then slowly raises once we wake, but i'd think those who pay mind to this could easily just spend an extra 10mins doing warmups before working out in the morning and it'd be the same exact thing.
