I gotta lift Monday through Friday and I'm extremely motivated. Weekends I got the twins and they aren't ready to start lifting yet.

I can do Before and After work everyday except Monday (have the boys in the morning) and Friday (gym closes early at night)

I'm just finishing up a crazy rag-tag thrown together push/pull/leg/yoga routine that is leaving me pretty exhausted.

Monday -AM off PM Push
Tuesday -AM Pull PM Leg
Wednesday -AM yoga class PM- cardio cuz fucking sore
Thursday -AM Push PM Pull
Friday -AM yoga class PM off

I'm just finishing up the second week of this schedule and I'm pretty fried. What's a smarter thing to do?
I have been considering a 5x5 routine mon/wed/fri and doing cardio to fill in the gaps.
Pretty deadset on going as much as possible lately I am super motivated to work hard any suggestions and comments are welcome
And I really like the yoga classes Wednesday and Friday mornings they are staying.

2 a day is really good for 2 things

1) increasing your overall volume when you cannot physically do it and recover training 1x day

2) burning the fuk out after 2.5 weeks

you're better off just working out once a day and getting a real good lift in then recovering the rest of the day unless you're pinning your ass with test, in that case yeah go for it
less can be more, burning your CNS out will take away all that motivation, imo two a days are not optimal

maybe try a 5x5 routine if you like the way it's laid out and the do your lifting in the PM and some light cardio like a walk outside or a jog in the morning :) good luck man!

Thanks for the input everyone.
I just finished 2nd week of like 9-10 workouts per week and I'm pretty burned out.
Gonna change shit up here but I still wanna log a lot of time in the gym. More cardio.
I'm stuck at 5'8" 260 pounds for months, but the man in the mirror is looking better and feeling stronger every week. Yoga is great; I can do a mother fucking handstand now.
Same weight, one month apart.
