i think its the right word..
when i run my front lower legs HURT like hell and i cant run due the pain...

im 6.1 280 lbs atm...

( i cant run more then 800m or something like that atm...)


In august im doing a 7 Km obstacle (kind of spartan race) with friend so i would really need tips on how to train properly and being able to lose some weight..

Running with 280 lbs on your shins is quite a bit of weight. If you insist on running, you need to work into it very slowly. Start with speed walking. Work up to a slight jog. While you're doing that, check the thread that xrmd linked. Do the exercise I posted in there. Also, ice and elevate. It'll get better. Also, try not to land on your heels so hard when you run.

this is how i fixed mine after a year of having it on my left leg and later my right leg aswell:

rest/ice until inflammation/pain is gone
start doing lower leg strength exercises like squats/lunges
start to exercise slowly. work urself up

Maybe look at cycling, much easier on the joints. I try not to run too often.
