gall bladder is small and relatively easy to access so performing it laproscopically is likely
it will be easier the longer you wait (because urgent surgeries are the ones which are messy, infected, urgent, ruptured etc. etc. and will take precedence over it)

i hear the worse part is your change of diet after the surgery. for at least a few weeks, no fiber / fat. so no more beans, bacon, cheese, cream, oil, etc. then you slowly add it back in small amounts.
i had my removed a few years ago. im in my mid 20s lol
had it laproscopic
went home same day or next day, dont remember
pain pills help for a few days, then u really dont need them anymore
just listen to doctor, was not too bad
just like carte said, dont eat high fat foods or a week or two, i ate mostly bread and bland stuff
now i can eat a whole pizza and not shit myself lol, i wonder if this might change later in life
how old r u by the way? didnt think this was common for young people
i was up all night barfing bile or whatever, literally throwing up for 16 hours straight and went to doctor in morning, so much pain, but didnt want to call ambulance, was more of a man, and stuck through it, prob shouldn't have, the surgeon told me my gallbladder was definitely inflamed after it was taken out.
DO NOT try to force any farts out within a few weeks after surgery, unless u wanna shit ur pants
