I have this gym competition weigh in on Monday. As of now I plan on just drinking protein shakes on Sunday and then protein shake and coffee morning of. I then plan on walking for about two hours before the weigh in. Any advice from people that have done that? I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to dehydrating myself. I was told to take a shot of wine 2 hours before

Yeah. It's a gym comp. Most weight loss in general in a certain time frame.

Pretty much biggest transformation, weight plays a role and it should make me look better I would imagine. I think I have a good shot at winning, so I want to take every step possible. It was 90 days:

Started 265 25% bf
Currently 221 upper 15% body fat

I still plan on hitting my personal goals, and I think I'll be upper 219.X before dehydrating myself. I'm hoping to get to 215 if that's possible. That would be an even 50 lbs for the thing.

What you do is this:

Suck on jolly ranchers and spit all day

wear a sweat suit and run/sit in a sauna

You can shed 7-10 pounds of water weight this day

Did it for wrestling in highschool. We had actual sweat suits tho, so just wear sweat pants and a hoodie and run in a hot room or outside.

saunas work wonders. Gotta do it right though.

I can lose a lb of weight in as little as 15 minutes in a sauna.

I sweat a TON so I think that will cut quite a bit. So I can sweat out lbs of water?

Hi!

I don't normally post but I thought I'd shed some light here for you since I competed in a boxing tournament about two months ago and cut a good amount of water weight!

I was in a tournament where they created 16-man brackets after weigh-ins based on weight, so the goal was just to lose as much weight as possible. I dropped from ~162 to 154 official weight in 2 days. It's actually extremely easy.

Tonight until you go to bed, drink as much water as possible. Like seriously as much as you can handle. There is a delay in your pissing reaction to your water consumption, so when you boost water consumption you still piss a lot the next couple days even if you stop water consumption.

Friday, drink like 64 oz of water. Saturday, 32 oz. Sunday, 12-16 oz. Monday, don't drink anything til you weigh in. Again your body will still be pissing as a reaction of heavier drinking a couple days earlier.

Don't do protein shakes day before/day of. Even though it's low calorie, that soon before weigh-in it's all about actual physical weight of what you consume, and liquids are heavy.

Eat eggs on Sunday morning, and have a quest bar Sunday afternoon (and maybe one more sunday night). Dat fiber might let you squeeze in one extra shit to cut more (seriously, hold off on your poop/piss day of until as soon as you have to leave for the gym to make sure you get as much as you can out!)

Monday, if it's possible, literally don't touch any food or drink until you weigh in. It's gonna suck, but it should be manageable. If it interferes with work then probably best you consume something.

If you're competing Monday, this is probably too extreme to follow cuz you're gonna be too dead even after eating/drinking after. I'll assume it's at least on Tuesday. You can google the right carbs to load on and stuff the night before/etc.

Oh I also didn't mention sweating. I hopped on a stationary bike for like 45 minutes or so on a decent level setting with sweatpants/hoodie for a couple days leading up, I'd probably start that tomorrow. If you wanna be hardcore, you can put the ol' trashbag on.

I never did the spitting thing. It's kinda disguisting and unnecessary unless you're like way over where you need to be.

I generally drink about 1.5 to 2 gallons of water a day, so I'll cut that in the manner you mentioned above the days before starting tomorrow. I weigh in Monday morning, weight isn't the biggest factor, but I would imagine it would make my muscles look better being dehydrated and getting a pump.
