So I was at the gym before and in the changing rooms me and my mate were in our boxers getting changed into gym clothes. Whilst we were in our boxers we did the quick ol' rudimentary mire yourself in the mirror thing. My mate, who is like 5"9 and 135-140 lbs and not as big as me was like "bro you got some BONEY ASS SHOUDLERS SON!" ...and I was like fuck u you are smaller than me in every way.

So we did our workout session (it went fine btw thanks for asking) and all was good. However when I got home and brushed my teeth before bed (a situation in which I was also wearing boxers), I realised that my clavicle does protrude a bit from the shoulder directly above the arm which you can see in the right light. It's kinda weird because you'd think that it would protrude even more from the upper chest area but it doesn't...and how does my mate's collar bone not show at all when he is skinnier than me and i have him by 30 lbs?

So I looked online a few mins ago and apparently it's a good thing, like a model look or some shit...and yes I know I'm not big but not a twig either so ya'll will say just put on some weight fgt but the question is rather how do people that are thinner than me have less protruding collarbones. If there could be a medical cause of this then shit I'll upload a pic to help the diagnosis but atm I'm worried as shit.

Yeah that was a troll like a year ago, bro...and you're still mad cuz of it. So I guess it worked.

Now are you gonna answer my question wannabe med school boy or am I gonna have to wait until your sig and ava rights are reinstated before I get a serious answer around here.

if ur srs no its fine, it likely just means you need to fill out your delts. if you had just had a traumatic shoulder injury and you lacked adduction/flexion in the joint i would say get checked out because you have probably subluxed the ac joint causing step deformity but im assuming that would have been mentioned in your story.

people have slight variations in joint shape all the time its probably not an issue

anatomical differences in bone and joint structure is a real thing. Moreover, they aren't even necessarily the same from one side to the other side of the same person.
