Hey man first of all I'd recommend getting some actual help from sources other than doctors who are just going to push pills down your throat, you need to deal with your anxiety problems. I'd recommend meditation, a therapist and (I know I'm going to get shit for this one) weed can open up a lot of doors within the mind if used properly (as well as increase appetite and reduce nausea unless you blaze too much). as far as gaining weight goes man just grab some fucking food that has tons of calories. whole milk, NUTELLA sandwiches, beef cooked in butter/oil, adding olive/coconut oil is an easy way to add calories Etc. at 6 foot 1 135 lbs you must literally look like skeletor. good luck on your journey to recovering but you're going to need to get help bro
good advice and good examples imo.
ensure and boost are more nutritional shakes with a little protein, they're a really expensive form of multivitamins. i am not sure how the effects from drinking a nutritional shake differ from taking a multivitamin tablet, you might want to read up on it before spending the money.
every chocolate whey i've ever tried has tasted good when blended with whole milk, but i'm also not very picky when it comes to protein shakes. if taste is a big factor, definitely use milk over water. tastes like a chocolate milkshake. also will help a little bit in gaining weight.
i already know most here will simply say "eat big" or "eat more" or something similar, but let me ask a few questions. is eating healthy/clean a goal of yours? if it is, how do you feel about cooking? i have lots of recipes for healthy meals that are also tasty, there are also lots of websites dedicated to just that (here's one i picked up a few from:
https://www.pinterest.com/explore/weight-gain-meals/) also, how's your appetite? by your current height/weight i'm guessing it isn't so good atm. there are a ton of factors that can increase/decrease your appetite, especially certain medications (decrease), but physical activity is obviously another one to increase appetite. do work, and when you get hungry, remember to go big.
meal prepping, like making 5 tupperware meals in one day, is a great way to stay on track with your eating with minimal effort.
good luck in meeting your goals, dude!
