are you counting your workouts as well? I eat 3500 calories when cutting because i lift for 2 hours doing high intensity high volume training followed by 15 min cardio, burns a fuck ton of calories.
People often think they need to eat under 2k calories a day but dont take into account their workout routine and how many calories lifting itself burns.
My maintenance would be around 2,800-3,000.
I count a full day so the average 2,200?
So then I need to create the 600-800+ calorie deficit and that comes from gym & cardio.
Currently counting macros and I believe I'm in the right spot, not losing too fast, strength is keeping up.
1/30 I weighted in at 201.2lbs and weighted in today at 196.4.
Would be a little lower but my sister wedding threw me off and took me about a week and some to come back
