So I think I am double joined in my right shoulder/shoulder blade area or something. I can make my right shoulder blade stick out of my back and drop my shoulder down when I flex and can't duplicate it with my left. I can make it look the same, but it doesn't have the same feel.

Anyways, did shoulders tonight and when I went to do 35lb DB curls, my right shoulder had strain on it and when I curled I started getting more pump in that side than the left, to the point where I said fuck it not going to do this to prevent injury. Kinda felt like my shoulder dropped down and had a muscles/ligaments holding it lol

Is my right shoulder weaker than my left, or is some sort of double jointed-ness causing me to use different muscles?

p.s. not double jointed like that dude in here who can put his arm behind his head and shit, kinda hard to explain may not be double jointed.

do u lift elbows when curling?

this would activate shoulder muscles more

Too much weight, you're probably engaging your shoulders to get it up.

Try sitting on an Incline Bench and curl up the weights from a dead hang.

The dead hang is what makes the shoulder feel like it's coming out of place or something

35lb isn't a lot for me on hammer curls, maybe it's cuz I normally don't do shoulders and then biceps right after. Felt really weird tho

I always engage the front side of the shoulders slightly when I want to get the squeeze on top. It just happens...
