If i cook with evoo 3x a day (fried rice, potato slices, eggs) for example, I use olive oil, but some gets left on the pan, or heated away into the atmostphere etc, that's like 360 cals right there, that's the difference between maintenance and a surplus, do I count the full 3 ounces, do you guys count half, or just neglect it?

e/ if I can't hit fiber requirements, is it ok to supplement it with psyllium husk every day? and what time of day would be best to take that?

how i solve that problem is i would just eat my meal out of the skillet/pot and make sure i eat all the oil that was used and i would count the oil at 100% on my macros

guess thats just gross to some people i used to just drink evoo out the bottle when i was short of my fats by the end of the day

unless you're cooking at insanely high temperatures you don't have to worry about calories lost by evoo "heating away into the atmosphere"

if there's any olive oil left in the pan that you want to be sure to account for, toss some chopped veg into the pan and pan-sear it for a couple minutes. mushrooms/onions/leeks/sweet potato, anything will work and absorb all the excess.

or alternatively, pour some stock or red wine into the pan and let it reduce until thick to have a nice sauce to go over whatever you've cooked

gl!
