It happened last year on my left knee, the kneecap dislocates and goes all the way out of the leg. It happens randomly, when i push uncorrectly or just a wrong step.. Its kind of annoying, i had it dislocate twice on my left but last week it happened on the right leg, for the first time.. which is painful as fuckkkkk! It is really the worst pain i have ever felt. When they wanted to take the radio i had to tell em to stop cause everytime my leg would be unsupported, or the knee would move just a little bit, i felt like all my leg wanted to break, it was hurting from my ass to my foot.
Im just wondering why this happens to me so much? IS it because i do a false movement and use too much strenght ? The day before id do sets of squats with 450 on my back, perfect form, watching my knee cause im aware of my condition, yet the day after as soon as i am not in a controlled/steady environement this happens.

What do to strenghten it?
Heres a pic for u guys, my knees suposed to be straight up, lol

Could be a severe case of patellofemoral syndrome which is just a fancy way of saying you have a muscle imbalance.

For me...my IT band is pulling the knee cap outward. It is able to do so because my VMO isn't strong enough to counter it (this is the quad muscle inside the thigh). So the only way to fix it is to strengthen my VMO and stretch my IT band so that it isn't as tight and pulling on my knee cap.
