So I always have these ideas that pop into my head where I wonder what would be the best option.
Obviously missing your calories/macros one day won't kill you or anything like that, but just kind of throw out all that and lets say if you couldn't hit your calories, would it be better to miss on your workout day or rest day?
Example. Doing starting strength, lifting 3 days a week. A/rest/B/rest/A kind of deal.
If you could only hit your calories on three days a week, would it be more beneficial to hit it on your workout days or rest days?
Yes I know this is a silly question/idea, but I am genuinely curious which would lead to better results, or if it even matters.
You're going to be losing weight (just "hitting calories" 3 days a week) no matter what you do at that point... and every night your body likely goes catabolic for a bit...so I can see where the idea for this question came from.
I would say that it is more important during workout days to meet nutrition goals... you'll probably get a better work out in
