I keep dropping the weight of what I do with my incline/flat DB presses to try and engage my chest more, rather than my shoulders, but I'm having trouble feeling it in my chest (other than squeezing at the end).

Is there any method to help engage the chest muscles more as opposed to the secondary muscles?

your feelings have nothing to do with the workout.

Hmm I'll keep that in mind for tonight then.

Just sometimes feels like I fatigue myself without actually working the muscle, if that makes sense.

I stick to dumbbells cause my shoulder hurts from barbells (my shoulder is like double jointed).

can also do some shoulder sets before bench to exhaust them and make the chest work harder

It's not my form, it's just once my shoulders get to a certain point on the negatives.

I could take a picture of my shoulder's joint, but I am at work. Maybe I'll sneak one in the bathroom ;)

Try a superset. Bench press, directly followed by some slow flies. Guaranteed chest engagement.

Maybe I'll try doing that. Like I said, I get fatigued to the point where I can't really lift with proper form, but also doesn't feel like my pecs were worked 100%

This is the picture of how my shoulder can pop, so it just causes some discomfort when going too low on flat bench http://i.imgur.com/tz6cwl9.jpg

Oh wow... You're elastic :D

To be honest, I never get good chest engagement from bench press too, be it barbell / dumbells.

I changed my program up to incline dumbell press, incline flies, normal bench press and sometimes these supersets.

Your arms should not be perpendicular to the length of your body
