yeah, i know caffeine can be good to aid in fat burning.

but is it really a decent amount?

any legit studies or something?

curious for even an estimate? like a few cups of coffee will aid in increasing fat burning by around a certain percent or extra so and so amount of calories?

also sadly just read this article. dont live in alabama, but still, sad story. kid accidentally took 50 cups worth of caffeine. it was a powder... dangerous sorta

cause i got some cheap pills, but they tiny and have only 100 mg each pill.

GARDENDALE, Ala. —A 24 year old Gardendale man died from an accidental overdose of caffeine. Now Wade Sweatt's parents have made it their mission to make everyone aware of the dangers of pure caffeine in powder form that’s legal, cheap and easy to find.

These days we'd all like to be a little healthier, more fit, have more energy. Pure caffeine powder has become a popular choice for athletes who want an energy boost or students who need to stay awake and focused.

24 year old Wade Sweatt from Gardendale was living in an Atlanta suburb last June. He wanted that extra energy, but was health conscious enough not to want the added sugar, artificial sweeteners and sodium found in sodas and energy drinks. He thought caffeine powder was the answer.

“It's caffeine right so it can't hurt you. That's the general thought is that it’s safe and unfortunately it’s just not” said Jim Sweatt, Wade’s father.

Pure caffeine in powder form is legal. It's marketed as a dietary supplement, rather than a stimulant, which means the Food and Drug Administration has little regulatory authority. The powder is cheap and easy to find on the internet. Wade found it, and for about 8 bucks he ordered a bag.
According to Jim Sweatt, “The directions on the packaging was so bad he accidentally mixed too much of this caffeine powder in some water and drank it and it killed him.”

According to the FDA, the appropriate amount was 1/16 of a teaspoon. Most of us don't have a measuring tool that small on hand. But it's important to get the amount correct, because too much can be deadly.
Julie Sweatt is Wade’s mother, “The difference between living and dying some say is between a pinch and a smidgen.”

Michael Taylor is a Deputy Commissioner at the FDA. He says a teaspoon of caffeine powder is the caffeine equivalent to 25 cups of coffee, and that much in an instant can kill you.

The doctor told Wade's parents, he had the caffeine equivalent of about 50 cups of coffee in his system when he was brought into the emergency room. Taylor says the agency continues to investigate and is exploring enforcement and regulatory options but has in recent months issued a safety alert about caffeine powder.
Taylor says, “ Our advice to consumers is to not buy this product, don't use it, it's not the safe way to get caffeine.”

The Sweatts say had Wade known the potential danger of caffeine powder they're confident he would never have taken it. “He probably never saw the danger in this powder,” said Julie Sweatt.

The Sweatts and an Ohio family, who lost their son to a caffeine overdose, have met with the FDA and lawmakers urging them to ban the sale of caffeine powder directly to consumers. Their efforts prompted six U.S. Senators to urge the Food and Drug Administration to immediately ban the sale and marketing of pure caffeine powder. But Michael Taylor says the agency doesn't have the authority to ban the product.

edit:

found this, yet doesnt really seem to be very specific, just a general agreement that it does increase energy expenditure

I don't think any substance actually burns fat. At all. Any effect on metabolism by caffine would be negligible. I think the point rather is to suppress appetite.

I'm just talking shit tho, meth/crack/coke heads get mad skinny but I feel like it's all about appetite superessant not the substance "burning fat"

Research EC(A) stack.

Lots of research.

Find the actual science between broscience.

If you opt to try it, start light, up dosage slowly.

ECA stack, yohimbine/caffeine stack, both won't be as effective as clenbuterol.

found another interesting article

http://ajpendo.physiology.org/content/269/4/E671

"The magnitude of coffee-induced thermogenesis and the influence of coffee ingestion on substrate oxidation were investigated in 10 lean and 10 obese women, over two 24-h periods in a respiratory chamber. On one occasion the subjects consumed caffeinated coffee and on the other occasion, decaffeinated coffee. The magnitude of thermogenesis was smaller in obese (4.9 +/- 2.0%) than in lean subjects (7.6 +/- 1.3%). The thermogeneic response to caffeine was prolonged during the night in lean women only. The coffee-induced stimulation of energy expenditure was mediated by a concomitant increase in lipid and carbohydrate oxidation. During the next day, in postabsorptive basal conditions, the thermogenic effect of coffee had vanished, but a significant increase in lipid oxidation was observed in both groups. The magnitude of this effect was, however, blunted in obese women (lipid oxidation increased by 29 and 10% in lean and obese women, respectively). Caffeine increased urinary epinephrine excretion. Whereas urinary caffeine excretion was similar in both groups, obese women excreted more theobromine, theophylline, and paraxanthine than lean women. Despite the high levels of urinary methylxanthine excretion, thermogenesis and lipid oxidation were less stimulated in obese than in lean subjects."
