I thought having cushion like that on the heel was bad and barefoot or a flat shoe like vans on converse were better? correct me if I'm wrong, I kinda like how the shoes look

Oly shoes help with squatting if you have trouble hitting depth. Though if you use a super wide stance I would use flats or barefoot instead.

*It's not a cushion, it's a raised heel (3/4 in). The shoes are rock solid on the bottom and very minimal cushion inside the shoe.



Yea I'm personally not a fan of the bright orange adipowers if I had to do it again I'd buy the black romaelos. But appearance is the last factor you should take into consideration.
