So I just started my first cut phase ever. I'm doing under 1800 calories at the moment. Eating pretty well and I cut it close each night. I'm an athlete and train excessive... Is 1800 calories not enough? Even thouhh im cutting or is that okay?

Like I said I'm 6'4 230-235 lbs. and I fit that frame very well except for definition .. Which is obviously what I am going for now

I'm around the same size - 6'5" 255-260. Currently cutting and eating 1700-1900 a day.

Edit: We will see how it goes.

You're a nutrition major and you don't already know what macronutrients are ? I learned in one semester of a basic nutrition class.

Just go under the stickies and use the fat loss guide by lightman. But bodybuilding.com had a good breakdown on macros
