I'm stuck.
I go between 133-137 lbs. no matter what I do or how much I eat, I can't gain weight. I've tried upping my protein by eating more chicken and fish and nuts, but it's not working.

Should I take a protein supplement? If so, which one?

I can probably relate, when I first started I saw some immediate strength gains, but my body weight was anchored at 140ish lbs. Was always discouraged since I felt like I was eating a lot (till I was full). Turns out filling my stomach all day just wasnt enough calories after counting my eating patterns for a couple of weeks. Then I started taking some gainers. Ive tried ON's serious mass and BSN's 1200 tru mass, both effective but full of sugars and simple carbs. From that I easily gained 8kg weight over 3 month (a good portion of which was fat) but at least I gained weight right?

Then I switched onto complex carb supplements, theres tons of them out there that are really cheap. Personal favourite was Cytosport's CytoCarb2. But they are all pretty much the same. Just mix them with my shakes and you have yourself your gainer

Feel free to pm for any questions on my experience while taking them

PS: I say they are a little too effective, which is good but not exactly necessary
