total noob here. just started counting my macros/micros.

im looking to eat 1650 calories a day at 155lbs, 5'7" in order to lose weight.

my question is, should i try to eat 1650 calories a day if im running as well? should i add on calories? if so, im assuming i should add enough calories to fill the difference of calories burned by running?

Your level of physical activity should have been taken into account when estimating your TDEE.

My friend is like 5'5, and was fat as fuck at 145ish pounds. I can imagine this guy is in the same boat. It would be worth it to get lean first before he cuts.

not trolling guys.

im not very fat but i do have a gut developing and my ass is starting to get quite large. im 24 and ive never really participated in any sports (other than like sand lot football, soccer, etc occasionally). just trying to shed some weight.

I gave you an answer. It isn't a yes or no question with the information you've given us.

But I would just go up to 1850/day assuming you aren't really short.

eat 1650, if your losing too fast, add more calories.
