I just got a 3lb thing of protein, my all time favorite: BSN Syntha-6 (amazing with milk, going to use water though)

Question, what is the best way to take this protein? Directly after the workout right? I'm not really trying to gain or lose weight, just trying to stay fit and get stronger. Been at it for 6 months or so.

Thanks in advance

Interesting, so protein 30 minutes before workout? How much time do I have to get carbs in me after my workout?

I always heard it was best to take it directly after the workout. I mean I guess it depends on the person...

Keep the advice coming.

It will have a negligible effect. just hit your macros for the day.

Sure. It doesn't really matter when you take your protein in relation to your workout unless you workout in a fasted state.

Focus on hitting your macronutrient/protein quota for the day.

If your goal is 175g protein a day, then focus on reaching that, it is far more important than when you take your protein.

Gotcha, but I always heard/read that it's good to take your protein after your workout when your muscles are repairing as it helps feed them? Does that make sense?
