Okay, so i realized that as i get heavier, my form becomes shittier (obviously..)

So.. what im trying to ask is if i want to achieve a just as efficient squat workout with less weight/better form is that possible??

I was squatting up to 260 but form was off so i backed off to 135 with stricter form.

Btw i do the 5/3/1 program so I dont know how i should adjust my program accordingly

tbh, just do 135, increase steadily to like 245 or something, see at what weight it starts fucking up and just choose an appropriate weight where you can maintain good form for a couple reps

It seems pretty useless to work with 135 when you usually rep 260. There won't be a good carryover on the form imo.

Your squat technique shouldn't start to diminish until you approach fatigue. It's not a linear relationship, that is to say your technique won't worsen as you approach max weight. Your max weight should be the weight you can move without a significant impairment to technique. Yes it will be harder to maintain decent form at higher weights but that doesn't make it ok to pop a disc for the sake of getting 10 lbs on your pr

decrease the weight 10-15 pounds and do what you were doing before while working on your form
as aube mentioned, lifting 135 with proper form won't have much carryover to 260.
