crossfit is a great way to mix lifting with gymnastics. proven to work, no history of injuries, inspirational videos but most of all backed by some serious evidence.

There are some issues related to injuries in almost all lifting sports. The rules don't protect athletes from all possible injuries in that if their lift is technically "good", they may still be risking injury (rounded back in the deadlift for example in PL)

Funny 2 DLs by those women in any case

Thanks, we all need a good laugh from time to time. Crossfit defenders are the same as the participants, demented high fiving know-it-alls.

the shit in that video is somewhat comparable to strongman form, those people are a little dumber but i mean a little flexion is sometimes needed to make a pull.

there is no real argument against crossfit as a sport, it is a legitimate thing. its the mentality of the athletes who participate that is questionable

Rather than talking shit, and living in the theoretical, go lift with a round back. I don't think anyone would care if you go to snapcity.

In the end, the decision to risk injury to perform better in competition is every individual athlete's to make. We all do it, but how much so varies a lot.
