New to the heavy bag thing

I just did circuits of like 1 min on bag and 1 min burpees and holy shit I'm rekt

Any of you guys have any ideas of a good circuit for beginners that's kind of fun? I wanna switch it up a lot so I don't get burnt out

Go 3 min and do different combinations and then 60 sec break but you can during your beak do burpees

Another is still 3 min rounds but do 2:30 of combos then 30 sec of straight punches and then during your break you choose of planks, push ups, burpees or jumping jacks. Everything has to be at the highest intensity possible

Awesome ya I'm still getting used to form and stuff but I went pretty hard

The bag didn't seem like much of a workout though the burpees are what killed me

1 minute is too little time if you have a decent anaerobic system. Do 3-5 minute rounds with 1 minute off inbetween.

Imagine you're fighting someone. Throw combinations with good form, speed, and power. Ensure you aren't pulling your punches either.

After each combo reset your footwork and rotate between circling left or right or resetting backwards. Hands up always, don't cross your feet while circling etc. Watch some youtube.

You will only get as much as you put into a heavybag, it is easy to be lazy on it so put the work in.

you might want to do some round like 1-2 combination then step back, 1-2 again step back etc etc etc

I suggested 2 simple conditioning workouts we do at my boxing gym I really recommend them. When your just doing combos throw them as someone else said like your fighting someone. Make sure you throw them fast and strong with your hands up and your feet are planted.. Don't forget to move around the bag. FYI these are done with atleast 10 rounds.

Also if the bag work is the easy part is cus burpees are hard no matter what but you can slack on throwing your punches
