no change in position, but yes i do usually sleep on 1 arm, i put one arm under the pillow and the my head on top of the pillow, its only my left arm that has been numb when i wake up,

when i flex both arms i do notice a little difference with the left, could be a nerve issue

just wondering if i should stop working out and let it heal

Sleeping with 1 arm under the pillow will usually result in your arm falling asleep.

Set an alarm clock for it.

Try to change your sleeping habbit and see if it changes. Probably easier to do that than stop lifting.

you have the numbness and tingling when you wake up and it stays all day?

sometimes when i sleep with elbow flexion my arms will "fall asleep" this is because the ulnar nerve can become trapped in that position. try sleeping with your arms at your side. if numbness and tingling persists throughout the day i would see your doctor
