Long story short, my stomach always feels questionable. I've gotten blood work done, and everything is within the normal ranges.

I've heard some people mention lately that they take kale shakes with all these other things blended in, and it got me thinking. I also then listened to some Joe Rogan Podcasts and he keeps going on and on about his kale shakes and it's benefits (real credible source I know).

So do any of you do it? What vegetables do you use? What quantities? What's your weekly cost on what you spend on these veggies? Suggestions on a real good blender that's very easy to clean?

I'd like this section to teach me something new for once.

Each day I do

One banana
one granny smith apple
handful of kale
handful of spinach
one tablespoon orange sugar free Metamucil
Water

It's pretty damn good and it's really cheap per shake.

I got some cheap target blender that's lasted me a year. I just rinse it after each use then spray it with vinegar. Only dishwasher it once every few weeks.

repped. See now this is an easy recipe that requires minimal effort and probably has very good benefits.

edit how much water? and did you ever try orange juice or some other substitute?

Just enough to fill maybe the bottom 1/5th of the blender.

Nah I don't change it, it's so easy I just stick with it. Orange juice would probably be good though.

also kind of a silly question, but do you cut the apple skin off or just dice it in to a couple pieces and throw it in there

I leave the skin on and just slice the apple.

My 2 staples and they are so delicious

4-5 bananas
1.5 cups ice cubes
1 cup almond milk
2tbsp cacao powder
1 scoop natty vanilla whey
2tbsp peanut buttah
The cacao powder adds an awesome taste

2-3 bananas
1-2 granny smith apples
1 mango or 1 pear or both !
1-1.5 cups ice cubes
2 cups spinach or kale
Slice of ginger (peeled)
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop natty vanilla whey
Delicious , especially the zest the ginger adds and you don't taste the kale or spinach even tho it's green...

Might have to play with the consistency depending on blender and how much food you use , just change the amount of ice or almond milk (or liquid u use )
- I get like 4-5 glasses out of this , however I use a big glass pitcher and just drink it , sometimes it takes 10 min to drink it.... I use a big NINJA blender ftw

Also I just put water and dish detergent in the blender sfter and blend it and it cleans it np, just rinse and maybe have to clean off some peanut buttah
