Went to the gym for the first time in forever now that I am getting on that trusty humira tomorrow. Anyways I went with a friend of mine from work who thinks he knows everything about lifting and shit. He swore to me he gained 40 pounds of muscle in 6 months and all of those other ridiculous things that people say.
"12 ounces of chicken is like 130 grams of protein"
"You need to eat good starches after a workout"
And so many other dumb things.
What do you guys do? Just agree with them or tell them to shut the fuck up?
