Am I counting my cals wrong?? I was 164 a week and a half ago getting steady weight gain, now ive slowly dropped to 159...

Here's my meals...

Banana
1 cup uncooked oats, handful mixed berries cinnamon brown sugar
4 eggs whole
Cup and a half of uncooked brown rice
Small head of brocolli
Can of coconut milk
2 bass filets (this is 2 meals)
Can of tuna 3tbsp mayo

Myfitnesspal says that's 3,300 cals, yet I'm losing weight??? I was gaining at 2900 2 weeks ago but that started to stall so I upped cals....

how many cal is a can of coconut milk. im too lazy to add it up for you, but that doesn't seem like 3300

There is more to it than this, you need to be measuring your food if you actually care, with something better than an smartphone app.

Secondly you're assuming you gained at 2900 and are losing at 3300.. okay then you're obviously getting more exercise in

???

lol I go for 3500 and I eat way more than that. im also around your weight, about 162 lbs. up it even more, don't be afraid to eat some chocolate if you arn't getting enough cals, as long as it is steady weight gain then there wont be that much fat gain

I was gaining weight when i ate less clean, I'm not worried about fat gain mostly just staying healthy.

How do you measure your food? I actually measure stuff before i cook it etc.

My exercise is very minimal, gym 4 days/week walk 1.6km to and from gym, rest of day i spend sitting down

i was always qqing before because i wasn't gaining weight and was already eating a lot more than average, but i was also scared to lose my abs so i was being careful, counting

finally someday i told myself fuck off and started eating, my progress has been exponential since then and i've gained good weight

so unless you're planning to compete, fuck off counting while you're bulking, just eat a lot and make gains brah, if you gain a bit of fat, it's not the end of the world, just do a proper cut afterwards and you'll be good

cortisol can have a LOT to do with mass balance, and i think youre overestimating a little bit but i could be wrong.

I'm not worried about losing abs etc, my only goal is to add weight ATM, I enjoy cutting and I cut fast as fuck aswell. So eat more than I am or eat unhealthier foods?
