About to give a presentation in front of over 50 ppl I'm about to shit myself

when someone gives a presentation im hardly paying attention dnt really give a shit so when i give one i just imagine that everyone else is thinking the same so who cares
that and wear like 10 shirts

I had a cool space diorama. Way cooler than anyones PowerPoint. People were actually attentive to mine.

Good thing I added humor. But I also imagined getting my D sucked lol. I was really calm. My heart was beating so fast before but once I got up there it all fell into place

i was always the most nervous person before giving presentations

and recently I presented/defended my master's thesis like a boss in front of researchers/professors/jury
I also taught Corp Finance at the MBA level in front of 106 students

look good to become confident
know what you're talking about to become interesting
and also do 2-3 (witty) jokes during the presentation to become likeable

50+ people is nothing.

For my CS/IT capstone we had to present in front of ~150 which is still pretty small.

I love giving speaches in class. I feel like my job has me years and years ahead of others in my classes as far as public speaking goes. I just pretend they're my employees and just rant. One thing that helps me is I don't make eye contact while I'm processing my thoughts. Once I decide what I'm going to say in my head, I make eye contact and proceed. Can't be a long pause tho!

Worst comes to worst... if your teacher isn't knowledgable on the subject, bullshit some of it lmao. I just did it last week and my teacher left me a note saying how nice it was for someone to know more advanced topics of the programming languages since everyone else just went over the elementary stuff
