basa fish is cheap AF (0.01c per 1gram) AKA $2 for a 200g filet it's pretty lean at 32g protein 3 g fat, easy as fuck to cook, and delicious... why is it so cheap? it's like chicken just half price...

looks just like the iridescent shark, name for the aquarium fish

ive had a few of these in my tanks before
albino ones are neat too

they grow quick

get scared really easily and can die from running their heads into the walls of fish tank if u spook them

eyes on the sides of their heads and i guess they cannot see in front of them

they are a type of catfish sorta, depends on who is classifying them

and i believe they come from vietnam and are not really regulated as well as other fish

so might be dangerous to consume
