I've done high bar ever since I started squatting

I switched to low bar this week and I must say I feel MUCH stronger and it feels amazing(specially dem glutes)

I slightly widened my stance as I was pretty narrow with high bar, my depth on low bar is just as deep as my high bar and I am still pretty upright.

It feels so good, I could put some converse on and widen my stance more and not go so deep but .....should I? Why?

How deep do you guys go when you squat low bar ?

My next video will be a 4 plate squat :P or a 300 bench. I'm close :thumbsup:

Just below parallel. When I do high bar I generally go ATG.

The biggest struggle for me when I switched to low bar was keeping my knees out. I had to hammer my adductors for quite some time.

I'd give each a shot. If you're used to oly shoes, probably stay with that, although I prefer flat soled for squatting and I use low bar.

Also wouldn't want to extend too much below parallel in low bar, but if you have been doing high bar atg for a long time, it probably wouldn't matter as much to you anyway.

Ofc is depends on what a person is training for , here I just lift for fun ....

What I'm trying to ask is , it's (is it) good to squat low bar ATG.
When I say ATG , that's as low as I can personally go.

I seen quite a few younger strong ass dudes squatting 500+ (YouTube) And I would say my form is somewhat similar to theirs. Low bar , oly shoes, deep, narrower stance.

Like I said, ATG , that's low as I can go , that's low bar .
