Currently 6' 1", 150 lbs
Tired of being skinny, but just trying to add about 20 lbs of muscle.
I got whey protein and creatine.
Haven't worked out in years
So looking for some advice.
First of all is whey protein and creatine sufficient?
Also, if anyone could give me a few workouts or a gameplan that would be awesome.
I kind of walk into the gym and get overwhelmed and end up doing cardio and bouncing.

Edit;
Also more worried about upper body.

Food is more important than protein powders.

Eat lots..

Do a basic 3 day routine to start imo.

Chest/tris
Back/bis
Shoulders/legs

Every other day do abs. Don't worry about cardio at this point. You can do a cool down stair master after every other workout if you want, opposite to abs, for like 20 min.

bolded is a big no-no

start squating asap, you'll regret it later 100%

if walking to the gym overwhelms you, I don't think bodybuilding is for you, you should be in the gym for at least an hour or two depending on which muscle group your working

eat tons of food, I was in your exact same position, I started off at 6'2 ~165, I always assumed "my metabolism was just really fast!" but no, I didn't eat nearly enough, get a diet plan and stick to it

too lazy to type out a workout plan sry

well you guys got any good links to a diet I can follow? I've been told my whole life that my metabolism was too fast for me to gain weight as well.
Its not that I get "overwhelmed" Its just I don't go in with a gameplan so im kinda all over the place and don't feel like I get much accomplished.
If you guys know a good guide I could follow for diet/workouts link me up please.
I don't expect anyone to type out a novel for me :P

I have a friend that is 6'5 at 170 and complains that he's so light because of his metabolism. I secretly logged EVERYTHING he ate for an entire day (were roomies) and e barely hit 2200 cals... Pathetic. He had the nerve to tell me "and man, I'm eating tons". Boy you eat like a rabbit

Okay so lets forget the exercise part of it all.
Say I was simply trying to pack on the lbs.
I have no knowledge of what to even eat to do that.
I know foods full of fat and calories, but when I ready shit I feel like 90 here and 60 there just don't add up to shit.
