how many sets do you guys usually do?

this is what ive been doing:

7 sets of deadlift (3 of them are warmup)
4x10 of mid back exercise
4x8-12 lat exercise
4x8-10 upper back exercise

e/ also are there certain muscle groups where doing 12 reps as opposed to 8 via. more beneficial?

i do about the same, usually try to do deads, 2 vertical pulls, 2 horizontal pulls

no not really, just about overloading the muscle over time.. i usually stay around 8-12 myself

I do do vertical row , horizontal row , and pulldowns.

No deadlifts, but I do 20 sets on pull-day, 13 of which are directly back targeting.

hm ive never done horizontal pull ups. they look super easy

Roughly 30 sets/week for back
