So In my 9 Months of Crossfit I've gotten a lot of Gains Put on some good weight andmy strength and endurance has improved massively and my mobility is great. Every lift of mine has gone up a lot. except my Bench/strict press
And I realize that is because we don't hit shoulders and chest as much as we should. Therefore I Feel a lot of ur average-decent crossfitters chest/shoulders/traps lack. My chest/traps aren't what they could be

Now body builders fill out all around more then crossfitters, I filled out good except chest/traps. So I'm going to start up at a local gym and start a side workout their like on my off days of crossfit or days when I have free time.
I still will go to crossfit 5 times a week so I'm going to be doing a lot of cardio while doing this so I don't expect much more weight or size I'd just like to fill out more.
I'll probally go 4 times a week for bout an hour and workout sinces its 24/7.
Do you think I would see better results with a hypertrophy routine or starting strength Because of my high intensity workouts and my goals?

thanks

Don't plan on doing any crossfit stuff at the gym that's why I asked about hypertrophy or starting strength. I would train at my crossfit gym but they don't have the equip and that be aukward.
So it definetly be aukward and embarrassing to crossfit stuff because every1 hates it. N I can do 15 strict pull ups so not that worried :o

Everyone is going to gain some strength if you do it long enough. Crossfit is going to ruin your form for life. The imbalances will be strong in this one.

>< .. ruin it for life kinda far lol. but nah My form has gotten better I used to dead/front squat wrong at home and I grew a big lower back muscle so it was hard to get lumbar curve at first on a lot of things but now the muscle is normal and flat.

Never compromise form to get a few extra reps. That's where crossfit goes completely wrong. They have the "train to failure or you're a failure" mentality. Which generally leads to a cumulative injury cycle.

Olympic lifts are meant to be done for low reps and generating as much power as possible. That's my other beef with crossfit.

I hear ya but It's a way of fitness and some take it seriously and try have good form to be different from the other crossfitters and try to give a good name which doesn't happen cuz their so many of em.
But yea Lmk about which program if your trying to share knowledge.

Nigga that's like eating regular potatoes and sweet potatoes at the same time. Do one or the other. Or cut out queer fit and pick up a sport.
