i got into wild land firefighting and triathlons seem like the one of the best things to do on the off season. Just wondering if anyone here has ever done one and what did your training look like?

what state are you a wildland firefighter in?
ive been looking to get into it but i dont want to start @ working in towers, doing the whole prevention thing
eventually want to get to be a smoke jumper, but seems like a long climb not sure if i should devote a lot of time to it or just focus on a second job

I'm just getting into it I'm in SoCal and I'm in week 3 of the academy. I think you should pursue it
