question:

Is it worth it to buy a 50-60 dollar bottle of powder from a nutrition store or can i get the same result with just a 20 dollar bottle from a basic grocery store.

thanks in advance

protein is protein
price varies depending on concentrate/isolate and brand
if your body absorbs concentrate without problem, go with that its much less expensive
also, some brands overprice

edit: also depends on amount of carbs/fat... 100% protein is more expensive than when its mixed of course

if this matters, i work out 3 days a week in a row and also on a vegetarian diet.
i've bought expensive stuff before but i've also bought basic stuff outta walmart. i just didn't know if spending the extra money is actually worth it or not

I don't think you should get all your protein from supplement's... whole foods for the majority of daily intake and supplements as a filler imo... but im a newb.

its perfectly fine to get most of your protein from protein shakes, @ op its usually better to buy in bulk, and grocery store proteins usually taste shitty
