Sorry if I sound like a n00b here but I usually work chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/legs and abs on different days. I have never deadlifted or squatted, and nor have my friends that are quite big

Didn't you know you can't possibly get big without squats and deadlifts obviously.

They are not a must if you only train for mass.
They are however really good for that goal.

If you train for strenght however...

I want to gain mass but there is only 1 barbell in my gym which suxx and it could disrupt my routine because it works lots of muscles so my legs could be tired the day after when it's legs day, for example

Yes you should do deadlifts & squats. They are the two best exercises, no reason not to do them.

But of course you can get big/strong without ever doing them

It's not a gym it's a fitness center. Get a new gym.

Da fuck only 1 barbell in a gym? what kind of shit is that.

My gym has 3 squat racks and probably 10-15 barbells and I'm not quite satisfied lol.

there are always alternatives...
they are very good exercices but you can do without if you really dont wanna do them

personally i dont do deadlifts, ive had back problems all my life and i dont wanna risk snapping something there
i do hyper extensions instead
