Long story short
Haven't lifted seriously in months
Ate whatever I wanted

Currently sitting at around 260 easily have 50 lbs to lose

At these numbers would a 1k be beneficial over a 500, rather then cutting for 6 months

Will be eating properly, gotta figure out numbers with my PEDs, metabolism is fucked anyways

Guess forgot my main question

I'll be on albuterol + yohimbine

Would I go eat 1000 deficit on top of these, so does the extra weight loss come from faster burned calories. Or is there another effect taking place

A healthy way of losing ffm, and slowly your mind.

260 may be heavy but losing a sum total of 50lbs can be done easily on a 4-5 month 500 cut

500 cals/day is ideal.

More than that and your body will probably also use muscle as energy to a point. Basically, you'll get weaker.

1 lb a week is best. Plus it's also better for your skin. Losing too much too quickly fucks with the elasticity of your skin and you can get flabby. some people handle it better than others tho

This, I have dropped some major weight in short periods of time doing more than 1000/day, but it's so easy to gain it back. Also, you will lose (or just maintain) strength if you are 1000 a day. 1000 a day is also very difficult to maintain over time. You might be able to cut some good weight in a month or so, but it becomes very difficult to maintain. You can also lower your metabolism by up to 800 kcal a day if you take extreme measures, so what works in the short term might eventually hurt you.

1k is a good way to shut down your metabolism.

What do you mean by that?

Cause you can just -1000 calories from your total and just split up what you have left into 5-8 smaller meals and keep your metabolism going by spacing those meals out. That's what you're thinking about right?

If not, then what are you thinking about? I'm just curious. lol.

highly restricted calories only have a marginal effect on metabolic adaptation.

and meal frequency is shiet as far as metabolism goes.
