Planning to use as a coffee replacement (much cheaper, less need to piss) when tired and possibly before workouts

How effective are they? Has anyone had side effects? Did anyone die

Also does the fact that theyre in a more compact form affect anything? or does 100mg caf from pill=100 mg caf from coffee

thanks all

100mg of caffeine is always 100mg of caffeine but the caffeine in your coffee is already in solution, whereas the caffeine in the pill requires mechanical digestion and then dissolution before it can be absorbed in the gut, so you may notice slight changes to the kinetics of the effect but nothing substantial

Coffee will typically feel a little more robust and stimulating. Obviously there's other constituents to coffee than caffeine. For instance there's beta-carbolines that act as mild MAOIs, sustaining NE/E levels.
The difference is somewhat marginable, but I can anecdotally attest it's noticable.

As far as having to use the bathroom the results will be the same whether you get caffeine through coffee or pill form.
Caffeine is a very effective supplement. Side effects are dose related, however severe toxicity doesn't occur until you exceed 6-7g/ day and fatality doesn't occur until you exceed 10-20g/day so it's fairly "safe" granted you don't have pre-existing sensitivity / other problems.
The compactness of the caffeine will have little effect on the stimulation you feel, just know that the accuracy of the dose you're taking will be increased in the pill form as opposed to the coffee.
