left my melamine spoon in a pot with cooking beef in it for a few minutes by accident, now im sketching out that the beef sauce is no good to eat. spoon didnt melt or bend but it got pretty toasty, should i be concerned?

according to wiki, melamine's melting point is over 300C. if it was in a sauce, i assume the max temp was only 100C? i wouldnt worry, i think. the stove probably wasn't even on high?

Stick your finger in the sauce. If it recieves third degree burns, don't eat the sauce, if not, you're good to go

i dont understand

i mean the spoon was pretty warm to touch, not actually browning. in fact there was no structural change to it at all

yeah i just noticed browning on the spoon so that 3lb batch of meat is gone... im crying inside right now lol
