Anyone currently use or know anything about the two? My doctor is really pushing for me to start one of them instead of the purinethol that I currently use with prednisone.

I've been on remicade for 7 years now, with over 50 infusions. Its been a miracle drug for treating my moderate-severe crohn's and really makes me feel normal/good most of the time. It keeps me in remission but still have bad flares when i get sick or very high levels of stress. The only symptom that remains is my complete lack of appetite. Since being diagnosed at an early age, I can honestly say that i dont know what hunger feels like
My next infusion is in a couple days and im looking forward to it. Already noticing a negative change in my mood and energy.

What specific questions do you have?

Would say solely predicated upon mechanisms of action and long term ramifications of that modulation, humira/remicade would be safer than prednisone

also, cannabis is great for helping ameliorate Crohn's Disease symptoms. Maybe not completely on its own (though I've heard mentions of it), but in conjunction with other treatment.. primarily because it'd be a hindrance to be high every moment.

People oft have reduced appetite with this condition though.. + the usual medication does that. Not saying you have that problem, but it's common, so the cannabis would help in that regard to actually eat adequately.
