Just doing some research/analysis as part of studies which requires a lot of WolframAlpha usage (brilliant website for those who haven't heard of it or used it btw) and a growth rate chart of a 9 year girl @ 4'9" appeared and I figured I'd check the accuracy of that chart.

When I was 12 years old I measured 156cm (school nurse measurement) so I typed in the information I knew "growth chart male, 12yr, 156cm" and the result is my projected adult height would be 183cm.

I'm 21 and exactly 183cm

I also remember my measurements from when I was 6, which was 120cm, I typed that in at the projected adult height of a 6 year old boy @ 120cm is... *drumroll*

183cm

Do anyone of you guys remember your childhood height measurements? Does it comply with Wolframalpha's growth chart?

In-laws on one cousin's side of the family, their family measures all the kids at three years old, and double that for their adult height.

They've been tracking it for a few generations now, and they're usually accurate within a couple of inches.

I heard something similar when in fifth grade, only that it was when you are two years old you are half your adult height.

so a 90cm two year old would be 180cm...
