My body is finally adjusting to life without it after years of taking a pre , and coffee in the mornings.

What I miss the most is that surge I would get when taking a pre-workout. Now that that's gone, I have to find other sources of energy and motivation.

Long story short, I feel better. I get better sleep. Sex drive never really dipped, but it appears to be slightly higher.

Would I reccomend it? To the 9-5 bros it will certainly take some adjustment, but after a couple of weeks, you are back to normal.

First 3 weeks of going from lets say 300mg caffeine to 0 were absolutely brutal. I was a zombie the entire day. Now in week 4, I'm slightly better. I think the biggest "withdrawal" symptom was the inability to focus. Also gym motivation was non-existent due to fatigue. Fortunately, I have some good lifting partners that helped me power through.

Edit: On the positive side of the spectrum, my sleep is much deeper and I feel more well rested in the morning.

I'm right there with you.. I replaced multiple pots of coffee/day with non-caffeinated tea about a month ago

I'm falling asleep all day, almost no sex drive

hoping I get over it soon

why go from 300 to 0

why not go to 150 for 1 week

then 75 for next week

then 0

I drink roughly 3 cups per day.. so probably 300mg on average. Why quit though? There's literally no reason or incentive to even try to stop. There's no positives with that choice lol.

When I first started trying to ease coffee out of my morning, I found that I was very addicted to the routine of brewing and the aroma of coffee.
